For Teachers, Lesson Ideas

These are not lesson plans, per se, but rather ideas, with references to the musical. This should promote learning opportunities to coincide with the play's production, for all ages.

There is so much that can be studied and learned from the two great civilizations visited in this musical. What follows are some ideas that could work for you and your students. The musical could be performed by grades ranging from 3rd through 8th, so the ideas presented will not be grade specific, that is, until you modify them accordingly.

The ideas are grouped by theme.
