Production Details:

Verses: There are 3 verses and a bridge that are written for Tanner and Xavier to sing. Tanner verse 1 and the bridge. Xavier verses 2 and 4.

Each Chorus section should be sung by all.

Staging:

The split stage shows both boys in their homes, alone in their rooms, expressing their frustration and drive to understand why such a simple pursuit of friendship is being rejected. The boys will sing as if they are talking long-distance, seeking the wisdom of some distant guide.

Musically:  Key of D

The verses should be quiet enough to allow the solo voices to be heard clearly. Perhaps no drums, with bass on the first beat of each measure. The choruses can really pick up feeling and volume with full rhythm support.
